Belle Isle Castle & Island Grounds
Directions
Belle Isle is a fairly remote destination in Northern Ireland, with a small town about 10 minutes from the venue. The island is 2 hours from Dublin and 1.5 hours from Belfast. Both Dublin and Belfast have large international airports to fly into.
The venue recommended Diamond Travel if you opt to not rent a car. You can arrange transport to and from either Belfast or Dublin airports, as well as taking you to the local town, Enniskillen (approx. 20 minutes from the Castle).
Where to Stay
Cottages and Coach Houses
Belle Isle is reserving the cottages, coach houses, and courtyard houses exclusively for our guests during our wedding weekend!
Each cottage sleeps 2-8 people (for a total of 62 guests). If you’d like to squeeze in 1-2 more people, cots can be made up upon request.
We want to accommodate as many as possible on property, because accommodation is limited, we ask that you book only what you need. :)
Cottage Booking is OPEN!
Follow the directions below to book. Do NOT book via the Belle Isle website as you will not see all the options.
Please view cottage/carriage house options here. To book, please reach out to Amy at events@belle-isle.com with the option you’d like to book and note that you are attending Dani & Rollin’s wedding. If you’d like to add a cot/crib anywhere in the house, please also alert Amy to this request.
Note: Smaller cottages are going fast! There are a few people looking/open to sharing space. If you are also open to this, please text the bride, Danielle, and she will help you get sorted! Amy is a joy to work with and so helpful so please be kind when working with her!
What to Do
Activities in the Area
We can’t wait for you to join us at this centuries old venue. We’ll get to add our story to the gardens, galleries, and ball rooms this venue has offered through the generations
EAT & DRINK
Lisnaskea and Enniskillen are small towns outside the island grounds with bakeries, groceries, and classic Irish Pubs.
Each cottage is equipped with a kitchen if you’d like to have your own snacks and meals for your stay (outside of the wedding, of course)!
PLAY
The images above show a few of the island’s many options and activities. Large grass fields, and a lakeside dock with rentable water activities (paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing bots + gear, water taxis/tours, etc)!
EXPLORE
The island is home to a variety of nature walks and lake scenery. A map of the island can be seen below. Some nearby activities have been compiled here.
The beauty and greenery of Northern Ireland is unparalleled, and we strongly encourage our guests to travel before and after our three day stay on the island. To learn more about our favorite parts of the UK/Europe, go to FAQ!
